My SA Prodigy Comp hands down. 4000+ trouble free, fast and accurate rounds downrange. My #1 Gun out of the box when shooting competition.
Welcome to the forum jmo102761. That doesn't appear to be the stock trigger on your Prodigy. Would you please tell us about it, why you changed it and how it improved the performance.

…after 3K error free rounds, my Sig P226 Extreme has been my all time favorite and bedside table pistol for the last year.

It feels good in my hands. I’m able to keep a good purchase on the gun which allows me to control the recoil for quick follow up shots, along with the factory short reset trigger is why I really enjoy this pistol.

I too would like to know about that trigger. I have the 4.25 comped and between a move from AZ back to PA I have yet to fire mine…..good looking piece.

That’s the Atlas Short Trigger in blue. I opted to get a lighter, crisper trigger pull. It’s at 1.5 lbs crisp. Really lets me run it fast on steel. Requires lots of concentration when in IDPA use. Upgraded the internals at about 2500 rounds to all Atlas except for the tool-less guide rod. Went with EGW because the Atlas had some reports of cycling issues due to the unintended button engagement.

It’s well worth the upgrade. The stock trigger was OK, not anything that stood out. The trigger upgrade is next level, light and crisp. It’s too light for carry though. The best value would be done in a package deal with the other forged internals.

Love everything about my Echelon except trigger reset is very light and slow. This is a very common complaint, however the only complaint I have ever heard about the platform. I can shoot faster than the trigger resets. Does anyone know if Springfield has a new spring or if anyone is offering an aftermarket spring that is better? Powder River sells a trigger kit but the reviews there also state that the stock trigger spring is still better than the aftermarket.

Powder River Precision has a much better trigger kit. It is found here ... PRP® Trigger Kit for Springfield® Echelon™
This kit can be installed by the end-user or an armorer or a gunsmith. Both YouTube and PRP have installation videos for this trigger kit. This kit is widely used in my area and has a good reputation.
PRP has instructional videos for their products found here ... 123powderriver

My favorite really depends on the day/situation. If I’m working and carrying, it’s my Glock 29.5. If I’m carrying out and about, it’s a toss up between Hellcat and Shield 40. If I’m going for pure enjoyment of shooting, my Colt 1911 is the smoothest and best feeling gun.

It's a simple question. The intention is to further fellowship here at the Springfield Forum, and learn something about each other. It isn't a competition, argument, or bashing session. Simply, what is your favorite, and you are welcome to share why.
I own more Springfields than any other brand, and they are highly appreciated. However, my absolute favorite, both out of what I own now and what I've owned in the past, is my Bul Armory SASII 3.25 ultralight. It's a very well built 2011, small but not too much, it has a fantastic trigger and sufficient capacity. Perfect? No. Perfect for me? As close as I've found. It's a keeper.
My prodigy 4.25 is great target or cc. My 9mm operator also is great. I shoot at range & carry both .

My fav for carry and second fav for fun is a Glock 26.
Second fav for carry is Hellcat, followed by Ruger LCR.

For range fun, I really enjoy revolvers, especially 357s: Ruger SP-101, S&W 686 and 19.

LCR doesn't merit a picture, IMO, but they are great tools.
