I have a brand new XD Mod.2 Tactical in 9mm and the point of aim is very high. I have to hold at the 6 O'Clock position to get center hits at 7-10 yards. It is clearly shooting very high...My friend tried it and he shoots an XDm 5.25. We are both IDPA/USPSA/3Gun shooters. I have emailed Springfield but have not heard back yet.

Has anyone else seen this problem?
Thanks,

I sent off the gun to Springfield and they put a new rear sight on the gun. It is now much better but it still seems to shoot high for me. I normally shoot a CZ-75 SP-01 Shadow. However, my friend shot it and it seems good for him. I need to take it to the range and run some accuracy tests. If I still can't get it right, plan to put adjustable sight on the back. The only other issue I have seen is an occasional failure to slide-lock with an empty gun. I have to watch myself, as I may be touching the slide with my support hand grip.
