S&W IS OUT.
I'm going with the Sig 320 to get the military contract. I have one and really like that it is a good quality pistol and easy to shoot.
The other ones left are the Beretta APX and long shot Sphinx SDP

And what caliber are all these in, or haven't they figured that out yet.
If they do anything other than 9mm England is going to be pissed.
They just completed changing over all their services pistol to match
our 9mm usage about 18 months ago.

I stand corrected . . .
Older SWISS manufacturer of firearms.
They are currently teamed with Kriss the importer/distributor to meet
the U.S. requirement for pre contract, and will go brick and mortar here
if they win the contract.

And its too bad they can't go back to a USA mfg and say correct these issues
and we'll talk again.
