I just watched WORLD WAR Z with Brad Pitt...and I thought it was very entertaining.

Then I watched Star Trek INTO DARKNESS...which was also worth the price of admission...

===================================

So...what movie have YOU seen recently...?!

WWZ tops my list as best zombie movie ever. I've seen it three times. I rarely watch movies more than once.

I like the "let's get down to business" attitude. Zombies super quick, ultra brutal, and the sub plots were all something I could relate to.

Everyone seen Dredd already? Great movie. Also extremely violent, but with far less plot and more lets just fill that lack of plot with more violence.
I just got The Rookie with Clint Eastwood and Charlie Sheen in a 3 pack DVD.I know it's an old movie but I've never seen it,don't know how I missed it,Eastwood is 1 of my Favorite actors. Anyway I thought it was a great movie.
The (Original) Wizard Of Oz. Redone in Hi def, 3D and shown over weekend at a IMAX theater.

Your right I am just not with what's happening in the movies today !

How was it? I would love to take my daughter (and father in law) to something like that.
Not a new movie, but I watched Last Man Standing with Bruce Willis. Love this movie probably seen it atleast 10 times. Nothing like double fisting a pair of 1911's..
Riddick..... What more needs to be said
I can't wait to see the new one! Should be great.

That'a a good one.

How exactly do you relate to super quick, brutal zombies?
WW Z sorry YAWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! overdone effects (Guess it looks great in 3D) Turned off the REDBOX disc when they flew out to UN FLEET HQ (Give me a BLEEPIN break). Tired of being insulted by BRAINLESS BRAINWASHING !

(at least it beats mowing the lawn I guess, but not by much)
Watched The Mechanic with Jason Statham and Ben Foster...a remake of the old Charles Bronson / Jan-Michael Vincent flick.

I enjoyed it...
Havent been to a movie since the wife and I took our niece to see CARS.
I don't ever get to go to theaters.

They were playing Team America: World Police on Showtime and I watched it for the first time in years.

Hysterical. Beyond obscene, but very funny.
I watched The Matrix over the weekend,I'd seen bits and pieces a few times before but never the whole thing, pretty good movie.:)
You gotta see the whole trilogy then...
That puppet movie...? :D
Sure is. That incredibly obscene puppet movie.

I liked it, but it seemed the story got convoluted for whatever reason and the ideas weren't properly presented to make for a cohesive story line.

I saw Drag Me to Hell recently. Good movie. I own it, but I watched it on TV.
Yea...the first Matrix was the best !
I just got This is the End on dvd. I thought it was pretty funny. Ridiculously silly, but that is to be expected. I enjoyed it.
