Great thread! Mine’s the CZ Shadow 2 - smooth DA/SA trigger, heavy enough to tame recoil, and it just feels right in my hands. Like you said, not ‘perfect,’ but it’s my go-to for range days.

 

The Shadow 2 is a fantastic handgun. I currently have an original SP-01 Shadow, which I enjoy in stock form. I would love to try out a Shadow 2 Compact- it's next on my want list.

 

My most favorite is my Colt Combat Elite XSE I bought right after my daughter was born. Liked it so much, I bought one to give her when she’s 21. I rebuilt mine and modified it by doing a trigger job, dehorn, and grips. Love that gun. It just carries so different than any of my other 1911s. My favorite Springfield is my Vickers, followed by my SS TRP then my cerakoted TRP

 

I really like my Dan Wesson CBOB 45, and carry it almost daily.

My favorite handgun was a 6" model 29 Smith in nickel. My dad lusted after it and I gave it to him years ago. Had a very slick trigger and was no problem hitting a milk jug at 100 yards with handloads back in the day.
I haven't been able to duplicate it with another although I have tried. Still, I wouldn't want it back for anything because I will never repay all he's done for me.

I'm a huge Springfield gun fan as well. My choice for IWB carry is my Hellcat Pro Comp. I will occasionally OWB carry my 3" EMP. All my other Springfields are Range toys.

My fav for carry and second fav for fun is a Glock 26.
Second fav for carry is Hellcat, followed by Ruger LCR.

For range fun, I really enjoy revolvers, especially 357s: Ruger SP-101, S&W 686 and 19.

LCR doesn't merit a picture, IMO, but they are great tools.
