I think this SPCA video is wonderful. Great, caring people and lucky animals waiting for homes. By the end I'm a little choked up. Such a sweet video from a very creative bunch at the Wake County, North Carolina animal shelter.

This is the longest fireworks display in Japan. About 1/2 mile long section of the river is covered with simultaneous fireworks from several barges. The largest diameter shots are about 100 yards wide! And just think, it was all to celebrate my birthday! Hehe... well, it was my birthday anyway...
