Sincere as a $5 funeral
Say what you like, it's all about the weather - We shoot 365 days a year here ;^)
My father-in-law worked on the Mercury-Redstone project. He was a "known communist", so he could only work on projects that we wanted the Russians to know about! They launched a dog, we launched a chimp, etc. Imagine spending that kind of money now to send a dog or a chimp to Mars? Of course, back then they usually got their astronauts back... The Mars folks are looking to get rid of some pesky Air Force officers for good: "Okay, I'll go, but I want you to pay off my mortgage, and my wife wants a Hummer to drive the kids to soccer practice".Wow Mon, that's weird! Yesterday some construction workers dug up some kind of ordinance on the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Al. They shut down part of the base but the reporters did not know what it was that was dug up. About once a year or so somebody finds something there.
