I have found Tula the most dependable ammo. I have shot at least 500 rounds of both 45 and 223. I have used the 45 with my SA1911A1 Mil ****, RI1911A1 GI model, and HiPoint 4595TS. As for the 223, I have used it with my SW MP15.
Yes, steel is cheaper and Tula tends to have the better price.
