Welcome to the forum Doctorlock. Good to have you on board. I don't have an SA-35 so I have no actual experience changing grips on one. A lot of times shorter, or the proper, screws will come with a set of grips if that's what required. If they don't, I would try the stock screws and just slowly tighten them and see if they will go all the way in and secure the grips without meeting any resistance along the way. If you feel something amiss during the process just back them out and obtain shorter screws.

Thank you sir! Appreciate the reply. That is what I had planned to do but figured it didn't hurt to ask anyway. I'll give it a shot later this afternoon and proceed slowly.
