It would be nice if you would introduce yourself first. Can you be more specific? What parts? Do you actually own a Hellcat or are you just inquiring?

 

My name is Bill and I own a micro Hellcat 9mm. My disassemble lever and front sight keeps rusting. I’ve had it replaced and the same thing keeps happening no matter what I do. And it’s the same parts. Everything else is fine.

3 months into conceal carry the top side of the slide is rusting

Guess I'm lucky. IWB in kydex for almost 6 months and no rust. I am a little disappointed in the slide finish. doesn't seem to resists scrapes well at all.

 

My Hellcat slide is a chewed up from holster friction, but it shoots great and is super easy to carry.
The slide finish could be better, but I will take a beat up looking gun that functions flawlessly over a pretty one any day.

 

No firearm that one carries should rust ever. 1 year or 5 years. We use them daily and sometimes it rains, then go home and clean them so they should not rust.
Just a poor finish and sloppy manufacturing. Poor quality.

 

I conceal carry a hellcat daily living in Vegas with low humidity and have started to develop rust on the back end of the rail located on the frame. Any suggestions how to remove it?
