Bought a new emp from gunbroker, $905 total cost including freight and FLL. Just got back from the range, shot 455 rounds of various ammo, american eagle 115 gr, remington 115 umc, fiocchi 115 gr and speer lawman 147 grain, all ball ammo. Had zero malfunctions. I even mixed up the ammo in the magazines to see how that would affect the reliability. I was very very happy with the firearm. The accuracy was very good and the EMP is easy to shoot. Being designed around the 9mm cartridge, the grip being smaller than the kimber, colt and sig ultra, fits my hand perfectly. After shooting 455 rounds I had no fatigue issues at all in my hands. Fun handgun to shoot and will make a great carry gun.
That's awesome....I'm glad you have had zero problems. Any new grips or other mods you've done to the EMP?
NDMarksman...you my friend have a very good looking EMP. I like the grip you've put on that little gun. Does the front finger grooves make much difference in the felt recoil and control?
EARL99208, the Pearce finger grips do help IMHO. BTW, the thumb groove you see is for my "leftie" shooting hand. I cut and smoothed the groove myself since the grips only had a RH thumb groove when I bought them. I also have a pair of CTC green laser grips that I use on this EMP that I love!!!
I have been looking at this model because it's built more in line with a 9mm than a 45 or 10mm. I may see one in my future.....
They do go underneath Klugey1. You may need to some light trimming here and there with a good pair of sharp scissors to get the fit right. Might took about 10 minutes to fit. I love em'
My camera work is not nearly as good as yours (just using my iPhone), but I think the Pearce Grips look really cool. Thanks for your help.
