    My 4.5" 9mm and .40cal aren't easily concealed....
Whoo-Hoo, looks like I'll be buying another pistol....
Leaning towards the 9mm, but not ruling out a .40cal either...
Explained to my wife it's for 'her protection' whenever we are away from home ......
She told me; "I like that idea."

After hemming and hawing at the local gun shop, talking with a couple customers
and the owner, I made up my mind and placed my order.
    XD Mod.2 Sub-Compact 9mm. ( Yes Pokute, I was wearing my skirt :D )
Having held the XDs..(very slim grip, not comfortable) I was offered to
handle the Mod.2....That's all it took.
Brian gave me a very fair price and even took my 20 yr old HiPoint
    .45acp as partial trade.
    I know I know I know....without pics it never happened !!!

It's been snowing all day, I had to do something to elevate my spirit !!!

There was a new HiPoint for sale at a local store, it actually had a big paper stick-on label on it (covering half the gun) that warned that serious injury or death could result from using it. Do they all ship like that, or was it some kind of joke?

That sticker could actually fit on all weapons.....and bottles of liquor,
packs of cigs, vehicles, fingernail clippers, ....etc.
Not sure why the HiPoint was targeted with the sticker

Maybe one of the salesmen got the sticker off of a hammer or screwdriver and stuck it on the HiPoint as a joke?

In hopes of regaining my man-card, I called Brian and asked
him to change the caliber from 9mm to .40cal. on my order.

All right! He went for the silly millimeter! And since I got to shoot an XD45 yesterday, I'll second the 45 - It was sweet!

Dude... .45 all the time. Why? CAUSE THEY DONT MAKE A .46!!! Lol! Seriously, if you get the opportunity, shoot the XDS .45. You'd be surprised how much more forgiving it is over the 9. My wife will even tell you the same. But, you still got an XD, so you did it right. Have fun!

And besides, if you get the 45, you only need to buy a profile crimp die to turn your 45acp die set into a 45LC die set, and you can even load the same bullets - They'll just take a little more powder and scoot out the gun a little faster :D
