The Springfield XDM 9mm is an excellent gun. It feels good in my hand, shoots good, has 100% reliability, has a better trigger than Glock but it is way too heavy for a compact gun designed for concealed carry. I will keep mine for now though because of the firepower but will probably not carry it for CHL.

I had the Talon grips on my XDM but after a few weeks they started to come loose and it made the grips feel fatter so I removed it. I don't see the point of using the talon griip...

Bummer. Never had that issue. On both the 9SC and carried daily on the XDM.

Picked up the XDm 3.8 a while back. Mod bug got me and soon added a PRP kit... wow what a nice change. Eventually Ill get to the sights...
