Hey y'all. Joined this forum the other day, but couldn't find the introductions thread bust here it is! The only handguns I've ever owned are revolvers, but I'm looking to rectumfy that!! I want a quality piece and want to hear your thoughts.I want one for carry and to shred paper.

I love revolvers, too. Classic beauties, in my opinion. But Springfield makes some mighty fine pistols. My man owns two XDM....in 9 mm and .45 ACP. They are great shooters. I wouldn't mind owning a Springfield 1911. Every bit as good as Colt 1911's.

Welcome aboard,glad ya hopped on over here. I had a Springfield 1911 that was 1 of the finest handguns I've ever owned but I have a tendency to lean towards Rugers. I also really like my Bersa Thunder .380.
