Here's hoping every one of you here on the forum have a great Christmas and New Year and Santa brings you that special Springfield firearm you have been looking at.
For Christmas, my son repaired my Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless, and even threw in a few boxes of .32 ammo for it. It had 100 years of grime and had never been fully stripped, so it was rebuilt from the ground up. He also found a retainer spring that was broken, so he got a new one. It is nice having an antique gunsmith for a son, who is also a LA County Sheriff's Department Rangemaster, so shooting and guns are his life.
