Steel case ammunition can be shot from a AK, Glock, etc in all calibers. Some find fault with it, others love it. It is cheap and you get what you pay for. At my range there are many cases on the ground as they are not reloadable. hence the short answer is yes. I have shot a few rounds given to me and i saw no issue other than they shoot a little bit dirtier. I love bras as the are reloadable and that makes them less expensive and run cleaner.

Voltaire knows more about steel cases than I do. The only steel I have used was 7.62 x 39 foreign military surplus.

I would not use it in any of my favorite pistols, but that is just me.

Although I've not seen anything condemning the use of steel jacket ammunition, I don't shoot it in any but my Communist bloc rifles since they're made for it.. I will concur with Voltaire in that the Comm bloc steel jacketed ammo definitely shoots dirtier than almost any others.
