Is anyone using 115gr hollow points as their edc ammo?

I'm pretty new to semi auto's, having been a single action revolver fan my whole life. Mostly what I'm seeing is people talking about carrying 124gr or 147gr. I don't have a huge amount of extra money to try different types of ammo but got an amazing deal on 200 rounds of Sierra 115gr JHP. What have all of you been seeing your hellcat likes best?

Keep buying the Sierra 115grn as the projectile weight has minimal differences. Usually projectile heavier weight affects marginally reduces muzzel flip as the case holds marginally less powder, or should. 115 and 125 grn usually are cheaper. They all feed the same.

I run Sig 115 V-Crown ammunition in my Hellcat for carry. I handload 115 FMJ for range use.

In 9 MM I tend to favor heavy for caliber so 124 t0 147 grain but some favor 115 gr. or lighter.

I carry 124 gr. Speer Gold Dots when I can find them, but I don't think there is anything wrong with quality 115 gr. JHP. Sierras JHPs are probably going to be quality.

To me, the important thing is whether you get expansion. I'm no ballistics expert, but in my limited experience barrel length, bullet velocity, and bullet design affect expansion more than bullet weight does.

Thanks for the input! After watching a few videos and reading your answers I'm a lot more comfortable.
