I myself hunt almost everyday...mostly small game in the semi-urban environment

of my county. Since the neighbors are too close, I tend to keep my hunting skills

sharp by using a break barrel, spring piston air rifle with a 3x9 scope and suppressor...

PA Dove Season

In 2013-2014, Dove hunters will have the opportunity to participate in a triple-split season. The first season runs Sept. 1st-29th, and hunting will start at noon and close at sunset daily. The second and third splits will be Oct. 27th-Nov. 24th, and Dec. 26th-Jan 5th, with hunting hours a half-hour before sunrise until sunset. In all three seasons, the daily bag limit will be 15, and the possession limit will be 30.

The early statewide season for resident Canada geese will open Sept. 1st through Sept. 25th. The early season retains a daily bag limit of eight Canada geese and possession limit of 16.

I been hunting deer for years with rifles, many calibers.

I decided this year, that I will only hunt with a handgun, a Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 magnum , open sites.

A challenge for sure, with open sights.

Wish me luck.

btw my grandson will be using a lever action 24" brl .44 mag.

Gamo whisper is a banned weapon in New Jersey because it is suppressed!

Sorta like living in Ky, next to Ill,
only go there when forced to.

Them flatlanders pay dearly to come hunt in Ky.

Only in the winter time after first freeze.

They have parasites that the cold takes care of.

I never eat rabbit in hot weather.
The only reason I killed these 3 and 7 more in those 3 weeks in May, was ,they were getting my garden.

I've been hunting for about 30 years for all sorts of critters with all sorts of weapons.I started hunting with handguns in the early 80's and prefer using them. I've used them for squirrel,****,deer, coyotes, ground hogs and frogs. I'm currently hunting (when I can find places to hunt that is) squirrel with my G2 Contender pistol in .22lr,deer with either my Contender pistol in 35 Rem,my Contender 45 cal ml or my Contender 44 mag rifle and coyote with either the Contender .223 rifle or my Savage model 11 .223 rifle (I use to use a Contender .223 pistol ;)).
