Hey guys, don't own a Springfield yet but am seriously looking at the

XDM .45 Compact 3.8. But there are other wants in front of it and not going to buy one without shooting it. I prefer a 9mm round and recoil but we will see. I am Michael and good to meet all you folks. Austin sent me a message to help out and join so here I am. I am an addict of firearms and am proficent with all I own. I love to shoot.​

Looks like we will have a great bunch of people on this new forum Austin put together and can discuss everything about various guns, experiences, advice etc. Does not have to just be about Springfields. As noted I will own one but as of now I don't own one. But have a fair share of good bang bang toys and enjoy shooting and tacting out guns, especially shotguns and ARs. Right now I am adding a SCCY CPX-2 and a Bersa BP9CC, then will have to save my dollars for the XDM 9 mm 3.8 compact, not a fan of a 45acp round.

Glad to see some NC people here, I am a Henderson County resident. Wasn't raised here. Was raised in Charlotte and moved arounf after school, came back to visit my Grandma in 76 and never left but with the beauty of these mountains amd the trout streams, I can't leave.
