So, because of the square trigger guard, finding a Holster (owb) for my Emissary has been a challenge. I thought I had a solution in the Vedder “Quick Draw”. It’s a combo of Kydex with a leather backing. The Emissary fits perfectly but.. it’s a big BUT… when I put it on, snug it up tight, the gun does not want to come out. It takes a ridiculous pull to get it to release. I am fencing with Vedder now, trying to get it returned and refunded. Well made, sucks the gun up tight and comfortable but poor functionality. Anyway, that’s the back story.
So, does anyone know of a LEATHER OWB pancake that works for the Emissary? I also would be open to a custom Holster maker you might know or have experience with that could make one that fits… and gives up the gun when I need it!
It’s that damn square trigger guard! I know Springfield sells a Mitch Rosen made for the Emissary, but it is for 1 1/2 belts only. I regularly wear an 1 3/4 gun belt. I am a Texas wanna be Cowboy after all….
I love my Emissary, I shoot it really well (for me) and want to carry it.
