Mike here, from Texas. Retired, old, sick of government. I have a brand new SA 1911 that i traded for resting in the safe. Put about 100 rounds thru it so far. 3 kids all growed up, and a wife of 46 years. Nice place here. I've been on so many forums that I quit or got banned from but I don't think this was one of them.

This one. I don't wanna dig the box out but I think it's a mil-spec. 45 acp.
I wanted a Mil-Spec for my first 1911, but I wanted something with better sights for these aging eyes so I bought a Springfield Range Officer Operator.
Good Luck with your new toy.

The only way MUCH can happen here is when we post a comment or showing what we have in our arsenal. So few post and then say not much is happening.. Possibly it is not just posting but posting items of interest with SA pistols or looking for solutions. We get out of a forum what we put in.

I prefer quality over quantity. I've been on a number of sites where I don't read or participate in 99% of the activity. I know there are forums that cover a multitude of subjects and folks are free to post or comment as they wish. To me though, it's mainly a weapons site and I really enjoy hearing about peoples experience with their firearms and getting or giving aid when needed. I will, on occasion, jump in on other subjects if the urge strikes.
