Hi y'all I'm from northwest ohio. I've been an avid hunter and shooter my whole life. I finally got a 1911 and springfield won hands down. I love my "range officer" it functions so flawless (so far) and accuracy is amazing. Compared to my other pistols getting used to aiming at 6 o'clock instead the typical point n shoot sights took a few runs.

Tell you what, it was the best choice I have made for a handgun. Outta all I have/had it's by far the best.

You're right there. I was looking online at some air rifles couple of days ago. They were as expensive as some rifles.

I bought a gamo bull whisper bone collector. Gamo website n bass pro it's like 200+ dollars. I found it at Walmart for 150ish. After a scope upgrade (the old one would move two clicks after every shot from the recoil) I pick doves off almost 90yards away. It's crazy for a air rifle. The penetrator rounds punch thru a 55 gallon steel drum.
