Hello everyone. I was invited over from the KTOG group. I like my Kel-Tecs just fine, but my first love, the first rifle I ever bought myself, is a Springfield manufactured in May of 1944, M1 Garand. Patton said "Every God-fearing, red-blooded, American Male should have one", or at least he should have said that. It has been with me for a while and had most definitely seen better days. A couple of years ago I sent it to Dean's Gun Restorations and Wow! it came back looking brand spanking new. I also have a Springfield M1911-A1 of recent manufacture, but looks like the old Colts when they were first issued with subdued sights and dressed in black.
