Hello from Iowa

Hi, all! I'm a retired Army Criminal Investigator who is now ready to retire from my second career training law enforcement and armed security professionals in the judgmental use of force and gunfighting tactics.

I just recently acquired a .45 Springfield XDS as my deep concealment weapon to replace my Walther PPS. Unfortunately, it's now back at Springfield being (hopefully) cured of the problems that forced the recall. I also picked up an M1A Scout which I greatly enjoy, and plan on soon acquiring an XDM for my "serious social occasions" piece. I'm impressed with how well the two Springfields shoot, and look forward to getting my XDS back so I can put in some more range time.
