Question to the Mods. Do you think there is a chance to start a Hellion sub-forum if the platform gets more traction?

Thanks!

Agreed, not sure where to post questions about them!

It might be worth it. Bullpup forums in general are not as wide spread as other platforms. Especially one that can concentrate on a SA product.
I would suggest going to the member section, finding an Administrator and sending them a PM.

Whats the opinion on the Hellion? Recoil, trigger, easy to load, quirks?
Good question. I'll see what we can do.

It’s on the heavy side but not in a bad way, feels solid. It’s easy to load but it’s not at all like an AR-15 so it takes some getting used to. LOP could be an issue for some people—I was able to hold one in the store before buying it so it fits me well. It’s a blast to shoot.

Probably my biggest complaint is that it wants me to buy it things. Most of my other rifles sit in the gun safe without much in the way of mods, I keep wanting to buy new stuff for the hellion which is getting expensive…..

Took the beast out with its new Eotech + magnifier. Still a blast to shoot. LOP is a bit much for my wife so she probably won’t shoot it much.

I think I’m finally going to start the process on getting a suppressor, about the only think left that she needs.

I have had my VHS-2 for1 month and have 1200 Rounds through it / I shot 600 Rounds through it Right Handed and the next 600 Rounds through it, I switched it to Left Handed & Switching it from Left to Right & Back it takes 5 minutes and I didn't Have One Single Issue No FTF or FTE
I don't Run it with a suppressor but the Rifle will run on the "S" Setting or the "N" gas Setting & the "S" Setting let's the Rifle shoots Very Smoothly, As far as the trigger, don't bother me at all, and as far as the safety goes it's not fullauto so who cares it's off - on, the length of pull is a bit long I put a 25° AR Grip on its fine now, the VHS-2 out Shoots my x95 with both having same Scope Mounts & Primary Arms 1x6x24 Chevron Recital & with 62 gr FMJ-BT > 24.5 grs > Win-748 & 69 gr BTHPM > 24.5 grs > Win-748 @ 100 yards the VHS-2 will shoot .75 to 1-1/4 inches & the x95 with the same ammo Shoots 2.2 to 3.4 inches. the x95 gasses your face right heavy and burns you eyes & nose & if you shoot it for a long period of time you will end up with powder soot on your face, the VHS-2 Don't Gas your face or burn your eyes, when you charge the VHS-2 it is very very smooth and I mean Smooth the x95 not so much you can feel a machined roughness, i like the Sights on the VHS-2
X95 Mag release like a AR style but I don't mind the paddle Mag release on the VHS-2 both are the Same but some slight differences so I really appreciate the each design I'm a jew so I should be biased towards the x95 but both are Great Weapons to me its 50 / 50
