I am a retired Process Control Specialist in power production. I bought my first handgun, a Beretta Nano in 2012. So far 1627 rounds down range. My second gun is a Ruger LCP with a LaserLite. A very reliable 588 rounds shot. My latest is a Springfield XDs.45ACP with a 3.3" barrel. I read many glowing range reports on this gun and that is probably the main reason that I bought it. Unfortunately it has been my least reliable purchase with 6 off center fail to fire in 232 rounds shot. It is back at the mother ship in Geneseo to try to correct the failure to return to battery condition. I'm sure they will mention limp wristing but that was not the case. I love the way it shoots and how accurate it is and plan to keep it regardless.
I am an NRA member and on my first renewal of my LTC (formally called CHL in Texas). My wife completed all of the requirements for LTC on April 5th. I love to shoot but my reason for buying these guns is self defense.
Oh yes, here is a photo of the family.
