From Amarillo, Tx

Hello all,
I just found this forum and joined. I am a new Springfield owner of 1911 Range Officer. I bought the gun after reading many reviews during the 100th year anniversary of the 1911. I haven't shot it much due to the shortage of ammo around here, but I just manage to get a 1000 rounds after a 8 month backorder. I have some acreage and am in the process of building a shooting range with dirt backstops and will soon be shooting all of my guns including the new Springfield. In the mean time I am killing a fair amount of clay pigeons because firing a shotgun the pellets never leave my property and it's lots of fun too. I'll check in from time to time and read the threads and add anything I can.
