I had a LGS inform me that since I was looking for a "good" full-sized 1911 in 10mm with an integral 1913 rail, I should look into a Dan Wesson "Specialist" (# 01815) as an alternative to the Colt Delta Elite Rail.

What do you all think? Is the Colt Delta Elite Rail worth the wait & hassle to track down, or just go with a more readily accessible Dan Wesson Specialist?

Went ahead and purchased a new DW Specialist 10mm Stainless from BattleHawk Armory. If we come across a Delta Elite Rail for retail cost, we'll grab it also for prosperity. I'll keep this WTB open for now. THX
