I know it's probably over played but I really like the way the Mod 2 came out. It breaks up the black a little.

Thanks! I'm not sure if you have ever done it but just be sure to use non acetone remover to clean excess off or you can have big problems.

A long time ago, we used oil paint sticks. Once they "set" nothing would take it off. I haven't seen them for sale for a long time. I heard that the new oil paint sticks from Shiva are permanent if you use a heat gun to cure after 24 hours, being careful not to burn it.

Yeah I've heard there's not much room for error with that method! What I like about this is I can change the color or take it off completely if I get sick of it.

True. I painted a couple of my front sights a while ago, and was very glad that I was able to take the paint off easily when I wanted to.
