The grips on my Luger were shrunken and loose, so I decided to hunt down some grips specifically for shooting. I ordered some grips on Amazon for under $30, shipped from India. Wasn't expecting them to be any good, but thought maybe I could build them up, or something.

They turned out to be pretty nice! I'm only going to have to dremel out two small places on each grip and they'll be good to go. Here's the Indian grips and the original (98 year old) grips, both with one coat of Tung Oil.

That's for your 9mm Luger, right?

I haven't gotten any grips from India but the grips from Thailand are pretty good quality. I was surprised, as well.

That would be 8.88mm

Here's a pic (not mine, just an example) showing a bore diameter proof on a Luger. They couldn't seem to get them all to come out exactly 8.88, so this one is 8.89:
