I seriously damaged a grip bushing in the process of changing from standard to thin grips on my Range Officer. In addition, it had been red Loctited in, so now there was no way to get the bushing out. Fortunately, the Challis bushing extractor (Challis Grips) rescued me! I summarize my experience in this video:

Actually, red locktite isn't as hard to break as one would think. Hair dryer on the area (be careful so you don't melt anything) and you'll have better luck removing it.
