I’m new to the world of Concealed Carry and would like to know what you guys and gals think about Self Defense Insurance like USCCA, NRA Carry Guard and all the others. I live in the very non-gun friendly state of New York. While my county is better about it, I worry about putting my family through financial struggles if I ever have to defend myself or them. So long story short (too late), do you guys recommend it and if so which?
I don't have a CCW permit, but talking to those that do they recommend it, only because even though you are justified by law enforcement if this shooting results in a fatality you will still be sued for wrongful death by the family.
This is just my opinion, others should follow with their opinion.
I am a USCCA member and feel they are worth the money.
